Cool! I went over to check out your blog, and one thing in particular caught my eye. You mentioned canning. I've been thinking for the last few days that I need to Google around for some information about how to preserve some of what I get from my garden this year, and also how to make strawberry jam. So if you ever get inspired to write a bit about canning, I'll be right there to read it!
ReplyDeleteI can do one better than just writing about about it. I would love to just come over and teach you or you can come to my house. I have lots of books with great recipes and all of the equipment and enough useless information in rattling around in my head to help you learn. It gets a bit scientific because of the ingredients and the acid content and the fact I never want to give anyone botulism. But once you get the hang of it it's super easy.
